Meet the people of The United Methodist Church. We are making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through our shared faith, mission and ministry.  Welcome to Trinity United Methodist Church here in Lexington, North Carolina.  

We have started choir meets at 10:30 am, and Worship Service begins at 11am in the Sanctuary and on Facebook and here on the website on Sunday afternoon.

Everyone is Welcome :  "To all who mourn and need Comfort, To all who are tired and need Rest, To all who are friendless and want Fellowship.  To all who sin and need a Savior, And to all who enter, This Church opens its Doors"

Trinity United Methodist Church is celebrating 131 years of service to Lexington in the name of Jesus. From horse and buggy to space travel, through two World Wars and countless other armed conflicts, the Great Depression, the Cold War, the space race, the Kennedy assassination and Watergate; from computers that occupied an entire building floor to ones we wear on our wrists, the old Victrola to vinyl records to ipods to itunes and cellphones, Trinity has ministered to thousands of people. We began as a mill church ministering to those who lived in the mill homes around us, many of whom walked to church each Sunday. Today our membership includes people from all over the area in and around Lexington. While we are now an older church with a much smaller membership, we remain an active congregation striving to make a difference in the lives of people in Lexington. It is an honor to be a part of this great and faithful congregation as we move into our 132nd year.
